Mandarin Oats & Honey - Natural Handmade Soap
Honey and Oats soap can be used on sensitive skin helping to retain moisture and soothing inflammation. Although it works as an emollient for dry skin, it also absorbs excess oils in oily skin. Mandarin is a good toner for oily skin & acts as an antiseptic. Palmarosa oil has a balancing effect on oil production, so it's good for both dry and oily skin types. It also stimulates the formulation of new tissue.
Oats & Honey are commonly used ingredients in skin and bath products for their exfoliating, soothing and moisturising properties.
We start with rolled whole oats and grind them ourselves. We add raw honey that has been harvest from our own apiary and combine these ingredients with local olive oil, coconut oil and castor oil to then make our natural soap the gentle way. No rushing or blitzing the mix.
Honey in our soap imparts a light, warm, sweet scent. The added sugar content helps increase the lather, and acts as a humectant. A humectant is a compound that attracts moisture to itself and helps retain the moisture. Humectants are wonderful additives to skin care products.
Women (and a few savvy men) through the ages have bathed in and used honey to keep their skin and hair radiant.
Oats & Honey will provide a gentle exfoliating treatment for any skin type, restoring the skins natural pH level with a rich & creamy lather & smooth texture that glides over the skin.

All soaps are cut by hand and vary in weight with a minimum weight of 110g.
