A mild essential oil free soap, suitable for dry skin.
Calendula (Calendula officinalis) has perhaps the longest history of use of any herb in skin care. Chamomile is used in skin care as an emollient and for its anti-inflammatory effects. Honey is a natural humectant with antimicrobial properties.
Calendula is widely use in creams and soaps for its many skin healing properties.
Much of the healing properties are because of their high levels of carotenoids - vitamin A like compounds.
Chamomile is often used in lotions and ointments as an emollient. Emollients help to keep the skin moist and flexible, thus helping to prevent cracking. Chamomile is believed to have a healing and rejuvenating effect on the skin.
Honey in our soap imparts a light, warm, sweet scent. The added sugar content helps increase the lather, and acts as a humectant.
A humectant is a compound that attracts moisture to itself and helps retain the moisture. Humectants are wonderful additives to skin care products.
Women through the ages have bathed in and used honey to keep their skin and hair radiant.
No palm oil or fragrances are used in Elamoore products.'
All soaps are cut by hand and vary in weight with a minimum weight of 125g. This is our larger sized bar if you prefer.
Soaps are unpackaged but come with an ingredients label on them.
